    Albert William Frederick Short, on remand from Toowoomba, was charged with having deserted his two children. Noreen Ida Short, aged five years, und Albert Roy Short, aged two years and three months. He pleaded guilty and consented to au order being made against him for the payment of 7s. 6d. a week towards the support of each of the children, the payments to be made fortnightly to the Clerk of Petty Sessions. Rockhampton.
