POLICE COURT - ADELAIDE Saturday, December 17

[Before Mr. S. Beddinem P.M.]
Edwin Short was charged with being a dangerous lunatic. It was stated in evidence that the defendant fired off a revolver from the window of his lodgings in Compton-street on Friday night. When a policeman went to arrest the defendant he found him running about with a sword in his hand in a very excited manner. He also had a butcher's knife in his possesion. Mr. Beddome said as the police would take care to look after the weapons Short could go.
